9.1/2 weeks pregnant slight cramping and passing a lot of wind is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not unusual: In that colon transit time begins to decrease as a result of hormones, stuff in colon longer, more time for bacteria to gow and work on it. I bet using a laxative, like MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) would help by keeping things moving. You may also get heartburn, try tums, mylanta as neutralizers but ranitidine 75 or 150 mg decreases stomach acid production, may need both and all these are over the counter and safe.
