Many causes: Some causes of frequent urination include diabetes type 1 and 2, pregnancy, prostate problems, interstitial cystitis, urinary infection, diuretic use (some meds have a diuretic side effect), neurological problems or stroke, overactive bladder syndrome, rarely cancer.
