A member asked:

Are there ways to tell if a person is going senile?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

a sequence: Senility slowly progresses from difficulty in short term memory (where are my keys?) , to loss of orientation, loss of recognition of people well known, unusual moods (laughing, sexual hyperactivity, depression), and in more advanced states disorientation, loss of bodily function control, complete confusion. Any change in the usual behavior and activity could be a clue.
