Skin separation: There are a number of diseases where the skin doesn't hold together properly. The main genetic disorders are in a family of diseases known as epidermolysis bullosa. However many other skin diseases that feature blistering are due to the fact that the skin is not holding together.(pemphigus, bullous pemphigoid, allergic contact dermatitis, etc).
