Lots of options: A good evaluation should be the first intervention. Consider removing toxins-additives, chemicals and some foods(possibly casein and gluten)-probiotics , fish oil and mg and b6 will likely be beneficial. It is also quite likely that methycobalamine would be of benefit.

Combination approach: Consider the combination of a behavioral approach monitored by a behavioral therapist, using cognitive behavioral therapy and medication to relieve the anxiety that often underlies autistic children's behavior. A social pragmatics group would give the child an opportunity to interact with other children in a structured and monitored setting.
