It Depends: What do you mean by "take a chance". She happens to have a virus that she could possibly give you that is not life threatening & manageable.There are things that can help prevent transfer & you may already have hsv1-have you been checked? Many have it & never know. It becomes more of a question of how you feel about her & whether you see her as a potential long-term mate & if honestly trumps hsv1.
