Many: Hepatitis c treatment has come a long way and the new medications are much more effective at curing the disease. There is pegylated interferon and Ribavirin (pr) as the standard medication. New meds like telaprevir and bocepravir have been added to (pr). In ~ 1 year, new meds are coming that are interferon free. Talk to your hepatologist regarding which treatment is best for you.
