A member asked:

How do i get my bipolar grandmother to get help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your Relationship: Bipolar in people we love can be so scary and painful. In terms of getting your grandmother help, probably the best thing to do is spend time with her and let her know your concerns in a way that won't offend her. Your relationship is key in how she takes it. While unusual for someone in their later years to be diagnosed with bipolar for the first time, it is possible. Best luck to both of you.
