Musculoskeletal: It is much more likely that your unilateral back pain has a musculoskeletal cause, such as degenerative disc, facet joint arthropathy, si joint pathology, herniated disc, pinched nerve, etc - rather than being related to menstruation. However, if your symptoms persist you should see a physician for evaluation.
