A member asked:

What risks are associated with uprightly stopping anti-depressants?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two main things: There are two main risks: 1) some antidepressants, if abruptly stopped, can have withdrawal symptoms [not life-threatening, just uncomfortable], 2) you risk a relapse of depression. Please consult your physician before stopping any medication on your own. Hope this answer helps.
