RISK: That everything you tried to change for the better will come back even worse if you stop abruptly. It may not happen, but if it does you'll have an unhappy time for a good two weeks plus. Always taper them.

Depends On Med: First of all, if one is considering stopping their medications, a dialog with the prescribing md is needed. Just as one would not start meds without consulting their md, one should do the same when stopping. Some antidepressants are easy to stop while others need to be carefully tapered to reduce withdrawal effects. And there is always the possibility of reemergence of symptoms. Be careful.
