Grade or stage?: Osteosarcoma is staged stage 1 thru 3 , the tumor is also graded based on its type microscopically and degree of local involvement there are grade 4 tumors. Staging involves tumor grade, tumor size and metastasis. Stage 3 tumor has 15 - 30% survival rate based on type of metastasis with lung having the best prognosis.
