A member asked:

Could you potentially have parkinson's at 21?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Parkinson's Disease: The age of onset of idiopathic parkinson's disease (ipd) is usually older than 40. Onset between 20-40 is young onset pd; onset before 20 is known as juvenile parkinsonisms, which does not preclude a diagnosis of ipd but raises the possibility of other conditions (wilson's, huntington's disease westphal variant).
