I don't know what : You have read. I tend not to get my info from the sites that sell goji berries - because I have seen some incredible (but unsubstantiated) claims. I have seen things written about weight loss, sun protection, eye protection, aphrodisiac qualities & fertility enhancement. Etc. The only thing I do know for sure is that goji berries are bursting with antioxidants - these are very healthy for you!

Goji berries: Goji berries are a very interesting food with good antioxidant content, but what "miracle effects" are you referring to? There are research reports of benefit in preventing macular degeneration: http://tinyurl.Com/mpsxhfd ; reinforcing immune defense: http://tinyurl.Com/kldryqc ; also possible neuroprotective attributes: http://tinyurl.Com/llffau8 no miracles with alzheimer's though.
