No: In spite of what some misinformed grown-up may have told you, acne's not caused by being dirty, or having unhealthy lifestyle habits. It is a complex and potentially serious disease and isn't going to respond to something that does basically nothing. Your physician can manage it but the medicines are strong -- it's your right to have 21st century health care.
