Might need back up: It is recommended that women place a new NuvaRing seven days after the previous one was removed. There is a small chance having the NuvaRing out the extra 1-2 days will increase your chances of becoming pregnant this month, so it might be safest to use a backup method (like condoms) during intercourse. The new NuvaRing can be put in today.
