A member asked:

Does oxytetracycline stunt height or growth in anyway? i was 15 years old when i started taking it and am worried if i stunted my growth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

We avoid the tetracyclines under age 8 because they can stain teeth, I am not aware of any data ever produced that indicates an effect on growth at any age. Your expected final height based on genetic potential is more reliant on the average of both parents height plus 5 cm in males.
