Not Likely: Miralax, (polyethylene glycol) previously available only by prescription, is now available over-the-counter. According to its manufacture, schering-plough healthcare products, MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) is not habit forming and is extremely effective in the relief of constipation. It is recommended for short-term use (two weeks or less) unless under the supervision of a physician. Due to its novel mechanism of action it is very safe.

Describe symptoms: Withdrawal symptoms ..... What are you experiencing as a symptom? Generally speaking, if you require a laxative to have a bm and you stop taking it you won't poop for a while. Is this your concern? Do you take any medicine that can cause constipation? Like pain pills?Or use illegal drugs like heroin? Most often its medicines or really bad diets that cause constipation.
