Alcohol and Sweat: The side effects caused by alcohol are seen till it is eliminated from the system. About 95% of the alcohol consumed is metabolized by the liver. The rest of the alcohol makes its away out of the system through the breath, urine, sweat, feces and breast milk. Sweating after drinking alcohol is common, because alcohol has a tendency to dilate the vessels in the skin. This leads to heat then sweat.
