Depends: Metronidazole, sold as Vagyl some places abroad but only as Flagyl in the US, is sometimes given for bacterial vaginosis or other minor vaginal infections. In this case, completing the course before resuming intercourse may improve response. If the drug is for another reason, no contraindication; remember to back up OCPs with condoms when taking any systemic antibiotic.
