At 100F outside temperature, the inside of a car is much hotter. Because guidance from drug manufacturers is generally to store these medications at 77F, it is anyone’s guess as to whether the birth control will still be effective. Taking the pack left in the car would therefore not be advisable, and using a pack that has been stored at the correct temperature would be recommended.
