A member asked:

I am on blood pressure medication. it keeps my blood pressure in the 130s/80s. very rarely in 140s/80s. my question is, am i safe to ride a few roller coasters? none that go upside down?

Even if your blood pressure goes up during the ride, the ride is very short so the rise in your blood pressure would be very brief. But, the doctor who prescribes your blood pressure medicine should also weigh in since that doctor knows all the details, like do you have a clinical condition causing your high blood pressure that might mean you should not go on a rollercoaster? Good luck!
