It is caused by the abnormal disruption of your normal hormones caused by plan B. Once you ovulate again and get back to your normal hormone balance, everything should return to normal in a couple weeks. Since you had to use plan B, it would be best to consider birth control in a more proactive way and find out how to use regular preventative birth control instead of relying on plan B.

Since "Plan B" is not 100% certain to prevent pregnancy, bleeding as described may indicate pregnancy, and such could be outside the uterus (ectopic), so obtain a "home" pregnancy test to be certain. Consult your GYN physician if bleeding continues.
