Because the depoprovera shot is given specifically every 12 weeks, it is typically effective for at least 12 weeks since the shot. From a June 2, 2023 shot, the next shot would be August 25, 2023. More than likely, pregnancy would not be possible yet since it is just 2 days past the expected date of a shot. However, if the plan is not to get pregnant, best not to take your chances.
