Can you help me understand why i have been bleeding for two and a half weeks after starting a new birth control this month. should i be worried? the bleeding stopped after about 10 days but after having sex, it resumed?

It may be a result of your body getting accustomed to the new birth control pills. But, you should get in touch with your gynecologist to let him/her know about this, especially if it happens again next month. It is possible you need a different birth control pill as this one may be giving you this side effect of excessive bleeding. Good luck!
