You did not indicate which hand it is; and I know if you complained of pain in the hand ECG would not be the first thing I would do, meaning you have not provided adequate information. Hand pain could be due to so many things like physical injury or inflammation affecting the joints of the hand or affectation of the nerves. It is best to discuss with the doctor that evaluated you and has more info
