: Had you had unprotected sex prior to the one day bleed? If so implantation bleed followed by a miscarriage was a possibility. Other possibilities include an anovulatory ( no egg) period or simply hormonal imbalance affecting your cycle. Your gynecologist is best to answer your question, though.
