"Plan B" for emergency contraception will act to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, but is not 100% certain to do so. If your periods are regular (24-32 days apart), wait until five days from the expected date of your period, and obtain a "home" pregnancy test to be certain. If the test is positive, see your GYN physician for guidance.
