A member asked:

Should i be concerned about pregnancy if i use condoms and pullout? i know how it works and its unlikely but im still paranoid because of microtears and 2% failure rates of condoms. should i be worried? other forms of birth control arent possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Condoms when properly fitted and used before any intercourse are quite effective in preventing pregnancy. Pull-out, if without a condom is no protection as the erect penis can be secreting sperm in all sexual fluids. If condoms plus pull out is used there is minimal chance of pregnancy but not zero.
