I ate salmon that had been thawed on the counter and was at room temperature all day before i cooked it. anyways is it possible for this to cause liver issues ? have elevated liver enzymes several weeks later and liver pain and trying to find cause?

You have to figure that bacteria grew during those hours at room temperature. Bacteria will die at an oven temperature of 212 degrees&so will viruses. Have you been tested for hepatitis A,B&C? Fatty liver? Gall bladder pathology? No alcohol abuse? I recommend consulting a hepatologist or gastroenterologist for evaluation and appropriate testing to determine the cause of your elevated liver enzymes
