I'm taking escitalopram 10mg for past 6 months for hyperventilation whenever i try to tapper hyperventilation comes back..now i tried to cut down to 5mg after 2weeks symptoms are back..how can i tap off without withdrawal symptoms..i like to tapper?

It would be nice to know why you want to taper off. It seems the medication might have helped with your symptoms. If you are having side effects form the medication, speck with your doctor and they will instruct you how best to go about the taper.
