A member asked:

Can puberty drag out to 6-7 years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The usual range is 2-5 years with some variation. Those who start early often have a shorter, more rapid change while those entering the process later can often continue wo grow/develop after their pears have stopped. Clinical markers like body changes are subject to variable interpretation. Bone age studies (wrist/hand) are a more definitive way to know when growth (height) is finished.
