A member asked:

How accurate are cycle tracking apps? i want to use it as a birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If pregnancy avoidance matters I would NEVER rely on "ovulation" tracking as birth control. Pregnancy has been documented from exposure at any point in a woman's cycle including during menses. Trackers are programmed based on the usual and may help those trying to get pregnant. Beyond that & anticipating menses, I would consider it less than worthwhile.
