I have been taking 30mg metermine for 2 weeks. i understand a side affect may be trouble urinating. since on it i do have trouble getting the flow going and then it is very slow, often start, stop etc. i want to finish them as it is working for me?

If you have bladder outlet obstruction caused by an enlarged prostate, you are risking the very uncomfortable acute urinary retention when you can't empty your bladder and will need catheterization in the emergency room. i'd be inclined to discontinue metermine if I were you.
