I think you are referring to striae, commonly referred to as “stretch marks”. They can happen for other reasons besides pregnancy. Sometimes, they appear with weight changes and certain medications, like steroids, can result in these marks as a side effect. You can see your doctor who can go over your clinical circumstance and see what is causing them in your case. Good luck!
