Last month my period started off very very light so much so that there would be no blood on the pad the first day this month my period is the same and i don't know why they've been like this?

Periods can change in the amount of bleeding that occurs, the duration of the period, etc. for many different reasons. If you have gained or lost weight, if you change your physical activity level (exercise more or less), etc., these can result in a deferent menstrual period. If you are concerned, you should see your gynecologist and have it checked. Best of luck to you!
