A member asked:

I'm 41 years old, i get out of breath walking few steps, i have ankle edema, my glucose is in the 100s constantly, i weight 225 with 4'11" my abdomen is swollen, walking feels heavy, i'm 10 months postpartum, is this heart insuficiency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You definitely are straining your heart with walking. I would not call it heart insufficiency. You have too much weight for your size. To move that much weight takes a certain level of fitness which you likely do not have and therfore get out of breath very easily. I hope you are under a doctor's care that can help you with any medical problems and guide you to loosing weight and getting fitter.
