chances of pregnancy with heavy period and sex just first day period ?

VERY Slim!: You ovulate 14 days before your period, which is usually mid cycle in most women. Having sex on the first day of your true period would not cause you to get pregnant. You are most likely to get pregnant when you are ovulating and have unprotected sex.
