I have started using dry eye ointment at night, but my vision stays a bit blurry next day, a ghosting effect. i need to use ointment so what should i do?

Other than trying to apply a very thin layer of ointment to a pulled down lower eyelid, my only suggestion is to use one drop of a product for relief of eye dryness if at all possible. If it's a prescription eye ointment, see if it's available in eye drops. You only need a very tiny amount of the eye drop medication to be effective.
