Genital warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) and can be transmitted through sexual contact. Mostly genital warts are harmless, some strains of HPV can lead to cervical cancer in women and other types of cancer in both men and women. It is possible for the body to clear the HPV infection on its own, it varies from person to person. Sometimes the virus may remain dormant for years.

A genital wart cannot clear up in 3 days, and "smooth and soft" doesn't sound like a wart. It was something else. Don't worry about it.
