If you have a wound, as long as it is not red or has pus coming out of it, you can apply an antibacterial ointment, like triple antibiotic ointment or bacitracin, and cover it with a dressing (like a bandaid). Do this daily and as needed if it gets wet or soiled until it completely heals. If it looks infected (like red or pus present), then see a doctor as antibiotics may be needed. Good luck!
