Zero risk. Herpes cannot be transmitted except by direct personal contact, such as kissing someone with an active cold sore. There is no chance of infection (genital or anywhere else on your body) from contact with the carpet, or from any normal father-daughter physical contact. He is not a risk for you to get herpes.
