Is micro needling specifically at home with a .5 mm derma pen relatively safe once every few weeks? i know theres risks of scarring, infection etc but overall in general is it known to be relatively safe at home? is it a must to go in office? ty?

Always best to be in an office, better sterility and more accurate treatment. 0.5mm are small needles so the pain will not be bad however that small size will be best used under the eye and possibly the forehead. THe thicker areas like cheeks will have little benefit. Also you must keep the needles clean and sterile as possible to avoid infection
