A member asked:

Can most medications (normal tablets etc and including pain medications - oxycodone etc) be taken rectally if you're feeling nauseous and can't keep anything down?

This is not recommended as the absorption is very different so the effects of the medications would be very different. Call your doctor and ask for treatment of the nausea. You also need to find out the etiology of the nausea. There are many effective nausea medications and then you will be able to take your other meds, once the nausea is controlled. Good luck!
