Plan B is usually effective if taken within 48-72 hours of exposure. Early estimates of pregnancy are often off by several weeks. A NIPS test on maternal blood as early as 8-10 weeks can detect fetal DNA and provide test results that can confirm paternity. When more than one male is involved it becomes a legal issue where speculation often ends up with a worrisome surprise.
