At ovulation, estrogen levels drop and progesterone levels rise and this transition can sometimes be associated with a small amount of bleeding. There should be no continued bleeding subsequently but old blood turns brown which might explain this continued discharge. It is not urgent, but if this continues over several months a checkup would be appropriate.
