Nondihydropyridine calcium channel blockers like verapamil or diltiazem can be used in cardiac patients for some of these indications without causing fatigue. Sometimes a different class of medication like a calcium channel blocker, can be substituted for atenolol or a different lower dose. Consult your cardiologist for specific recommendations.

The symptoms listed can be side effects from Atenolol. Sometimes some of the symptoms go away on their own, sometimes they don't.
