I have prescribed atenolol for a heart condition but notice i m tired and unable to pperform daily tasks with out jsutting really tired and sleep a lot. what can i do to counter the effects?

Were you prescribed atenolol to slow your heart rate,prevent or treat arrythmias,for cardioprotection because of prior heart attack or to treat angina? It is also used to treat hypertension. Nondihydropyridine calcium channel blockers like verapamil or diltiazem can be used in cardiac patients for some of these indications without causing fatigue.
