Bottom of neck: It affects the spine at the very lowest level in the neck and the highest level in the thoracic spine or upper back. Most people do fine without much problems.

Cspine DS: A slip of C7 on t 1 may be completely asymptomatic. May cause arthritic neck pain. May affect the C8 nerve which supplies grip strength and sensation to the ring and pinky fingers.
