You should have the ulcer examined to determine why the ulcer is present. The ointment you are asking about is antibacterial and it is effective against MRSA. But, if your ulcer is not due to bacterial infection, then this ointment will not be helpful. So, see a doctor to have this examined and then an effective treatment can be prescribed. Good luck!
