If you have new unexplained discharge then go see your regular doctor for evaluation & testing.

The sort of discharge you are describing is typical of what can be seen prior to ovulation, so you may have been mistaken that you ovulated. While some women get specific symptoms around ovulation, and there are home tests that can help identify it, it is very difficult to identify exactly. If ovulation has been delayed your period will be delayed, and you should not assume that you are safe.
